What is the current PF contribution rate?
Both employee and employer contribute 12% each of Basic + DA towards PF. Employee's 12% goes entirely to EPF. Employer's 12% is split: 8.33% to EPS (Pension) and 3.67% to EPF.
Is PF mandatory for all employees?
PF is mandatory for organizations with 20+ employees where salary is up to ₹15,000/month. Higher-paid employees can opt-in. Most companies make it mandatory for all.
What is the ESI eligibility limit?
ESI is applicable only if your gross monthly salary is ₹21,000 or less. If your salary exceeds this limit, ESI is not deducted.
What is the difference between EPF and EPS?
